But for many people in our community, the coldest night of the year is faced without the safety of a warm, secure home.
That’s why the Coldest Night of the Year (CNOY) Walk means so much to us—and why our team, Snow Place Like Home, is proud to be fundraising in support of Lionhearts Kingston.
What Is the Coldest Night of the Year Walk?
The Coldest Night of the Year is a national winter fundraising walk that brings communities together to support people experiencing homelessness, hunger, and housing insecurity. Here in Kingston, funds raised through the walk directly support Lionhearts Kingston, a local organization making a real difference every single day.
Participants walk together on one of the coldest evenings of the year as a reminder of how challenging winter can be for those without stable housing—and as a show of solidarity, compassion, and hope.
Why We’re Walking for Lionhearts Kingston
As Kingston realtors, the idea of “home” is central to everything we do. We help people find places where they feel safe, supported, and grounded. But we also see how difficult housing stability can be—and how many in our community are struggling without it.
